Regency Title holder’s will be Grand Marshall at the 17th Annual Parade of Lights Parade

Houston, Texas – The Regency International Pageant is thrilled to announce that the 2014 Titleholders will be this year’s Grand Marshalls of the 17th Annual TVFRF’s (Texas Volunteer Firefighter’s Relief Fund) Parade of Lights on Sunday December 7, 2014 at 6 p.m. Titleholders, Mrs. Kimberly Bond, Miss Erica Ramirez, Miss Teen Kayltin Amubal, and Little Miss Maurielle Vargas, are thrilled about being this year’s Grand Marshalls. The parade takes place from 6 to 9:30 from Loch Katrine down Highway 6 to Cy Falls High School. Several Thousand families will line the streets along Hwy 6. The parade will also include rescue trucks, aerial trucks, wreckers, fire trucks, ambulances, various floats, 18-wheelers and commercial vehicles, and the one person all children are waiting to see Santa!

The Parade will end at the Cy-Falls High School and after the procession; snacks, hot cocoa, t-shirts and caps will be sold with all the proceeds from the parade going to the Texas Volunteer Firefighter’s Relief Fund.
Every year the parade gets bigger, although 90 percent of the organization’s members are from Cy-Fair, the organization strives to help volunteers all over Texas. “When we started this event 17 years ago, it was The Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department Relief Fund, 7 years ago we changed our name and opened the Texas Volunteer Relief Fund so we may help all Texas Volunteer Firefighters.” said Rodney Crosby.

Crosby says the main reason they started the organization is because volunteers don’t receive worker’s compensation as a regular employee would. If they are injured, it comes out of their own pockets. In addition Crosby says “We’re always looking for sponsor to help the firefighters across Texas.”

If you have a business or organization enter the parade and get lots of exposure and help out a great cause!
