Ashlee Jolliffe

Hello, I’m Ashlee Jolliffe, your Miss Regency International 2022.
I am your real-life “Aussie Country Barbie Doll”. I have grown up on the outskirts of Collingullie, a small village that lies in southern rural New South Wales, Australia. Growing up on our 5000-acre family farm with my parents and two older brothers, I am equally happy riding my motorbike as I am when competing in pageants on stage. I have learned to be involved in all aspects of our farming enterprise from mustering the sheep on my motorbike to driving the big headers and tractors. I am not afraid of hard work, learning to shear a sheep, and working long hours in the shearing shed as a roustabout. Moving interstate in 2021 to further my career was certainly a challenge. Leaving my beautiful family and grandparents was extremely hard but the city and beach have introduced me to another way of life which I am embracing warmly.

Pageantry has allowed me to grow and experience some of the best times with wonderful friends. It has also pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me to work on difficulties that I am learning to master. Suffering from severe social anxiety the thought of being on stage and competing for the first time at 19 just didn’t seem manageable.

But look at me now.

I am passionate about helping others. Having been diagnosed with Autism and combined ADHD this year, I have taken it upon myself to be a voice for the Autistic community to promote awareness and understanding of being a neurodivergent. I want to break down barriers and show others they can do the same. I have so much to learn but I now have a better understanding of myself, Autism, and ADHD.

What a journey I am embarking on. I am thrilled and excited to have this amazing opportunity to represent Regency International over the next 12 months. I am so thankful for everyone who has supported me on this adventure as your Miss Regency International 2022.
