The California Regency Pageant
The California Regency Pageant will be held in Santa Cruz, CA, on March 15th and 16th, 2025.
The California & Pacific Coast Regency Pageant is an open pageant. You do not have to live in California. Our Entry Fee is $350.00 for adult contestants and $250.00 for contestants under 18. Areas of competition include interviews, photogenic evening gowns, and unfashioned. We offer other optional competitions, but they are not required to win the state title. Contestants will represent their city, hometown, or county at the pageant. All you need to get started is a $50.00 Deposit. Balances can be made in payments.
Winners will receive a beautiful State Crown, an Embroidered Satin Sash, and a fully paid Entry Fee to the International Pageant in San Antonio, Texas. They will also win photoshoots and runway show opportunities, pageant coaching, sponsorships, event appearances, salon services, a custom wardrobe, and much more.

Contestants Compete in the following areas:
Interview:
The Personal interview competition is the delegate’s best opportunity to allow the judges to get to know them personally and intimately. Each Delegate will be interviewed the individual and will have to answer a question on a variety of topics. They will have the opportunity to talk about themselves, current events, social issues, and personalities that affect the world today. Judges will be looking for articulate, well-spoken and confident ladies. The personal interview competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score.
Fashion:
The fashion wear competition should reflect the personal style of the delegate. The delegate should take this opportunity to choose an outfit that is truly them. The contestant should look to project their personal style, age, and personality on stage. This segment will be very much like a runway show. The fashion wear competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score.

Evening Gown:
One word should describe the evening wear competition – Elegance. The evening wear competition is the contestant’s opportunity to show their style, poise, and confidence. The evening wear competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score. Judges will be looking for articulate, well-spoken and confident ladies. The personal interview competition is worth 25% of the contestant’s total score

Photogenic:

We encourage our contestants to be involved in your community. We present awards to contestants that do community service at the pageant. This is not a requirement and does not in any way go towards your score. For Contestants that would like to do these events we do offer a Satin Sash and Local Crown, the cost for the set is $65.00. You are not required to have these, and you will not need at the pageant.
